This project scored high on the decision quality wheel. The dimension that scored the lowest was the creation of doable alternatives since only two vendors were considered. Customer satisfaction was high with one exception. That person later came to the conclusion that this was the desired alternative and the process provided valuable insight into the problem. This project was seen to add significant value to the company based on the impact of a unified site strategy, a single source vendor for the plant, and improved communication among engineers.
